Architectural & Interior Solutions

As my internship as a 3D Generalist at Letink Design comes to an end, I’ve been reflecting on the incredible technical and creative challenges I had the chance to take on.

One highlight was collaborating closely with Raphael Trischler on architectural
and interior visualization projects, taking rough spatial layouts and turning them into photorealistic, client-worthy visuals.

During these projects, I experimented heavily with material creation, focusing on
accurate light response across concrete, aluminum, glass, and mirror-like surfaces. Special thanks to Raphael Trischler for mentoring me throughout the process! He taught me how to dial in realistic lighting setups, showed me how to be perceptive when analysing real life references and how even the smallest detail can make the biggest change! He helped me refresh and expand my 3Ds Max skills, workflow and shared invaluable tips and tricks to speed up production.

Here is a closer look at my technical contributions:

PBR Shader & Material Creation
- Built Corona PBR materials fine-tuning roughness and bump maps to ensure
natural light interaction within the interior spaces.

Optimization & Asset Creation
- Cleaned and optimized heavy imported geometry to maintain smooth
viewport performance and clean scene files.
- Modeled architectural elements and layouts whenever custom solutions were
needed.

Staging & Client Feedback Iteration
- Handled the first initial pass of interior scene staging and composition.
- Implemented client feedback, making adjustments to colour schemes,
furniture placement, and architectural/exterior configurations.

A huge thank you to the entire team at Letink Design for trusting me with live client work, pushing my skills in 3Ds Max, and creating such a supportive, collaborative environment! More works during my amazing internship period will be shared soon!
